From Pythagoras’ monochord to the kanon with many strings of the East , from David’s psaltery to the instrument which enhances music creation. Together with the kanun walks the modes of ancient Greek music thought, the spirituality of the sounds of the Byzantium to end up in the cotemporary music reality. Neither a nostalgic preserver nor an ephemeral innovator , having the inquisitive mind of the contemporary Greek, sails in the ocean of the music, travelling with the kanun.

στο Κέντρον Ερεύνης και Προβολής της Εθνικής Μουσικής

Το ΚΕΠΕΜ σας προσκαλεί, το Σάββατο 21 Ιανουαρίου 2012, στο ετήσιο μνημόσυνο του δασκάλου μας Σίμωνος Ι. Καρά, το οποίο θα τελεσθεί στο παρεκκλήσιο του Κέντρου (Έρσης 9 και Πουλχερίας, Λόφος Στρέφη, Εξάρχεια).

10.00 πμ: Ακολουθία μνημοσύνου

Στους παρευρισκομένους θα παρατεθεί γεύμα, το οποίο θα πλαισιώσει η ορχήστρα των δασκάλων του Κέντρου με σκοπούς και τραγούδια.
